After Wat Sutat, it's about an hour's drive to LP Cham Nam's temple (Wat bang kuti-Thong) in Pathum Thani province.

Lp Cham Nam was having his lunch. So while waiting for him, I took some pictures in his temple. (The temple counter had no more of his amulets to let go. But you can donate a certain amount of money to him and get a few of his amulets in return)

Brief information about LP Cham Nam:

LP Cham Nam (sometimes written LP Chumnan) is the current Abbot of Wat Bang Kuti-Thong (in Pathum Thani province).

LP Cham Nam travelled much and studied with the some of the great Thai gurus of our time (for example, LP Surin and Jao-Khun Ramun Muni of Wat Banglung in Pathum Thani).

Through intensive meditation and spiritual practice, LP Cham-Nam is said to have developed the ability to communicate with many great gurus of times past such as the LP Suk of Wat Makantao, LP Toh of Wat Rakhang and even the legendary LP Thuad.
It is believed these great famous gurus of times past passed down their instructions on meditation, spiritual practice and how to make various effective amulets to LP Cham Nam.

In the morning, my first stop was at Wat Sutat.

At Wat Sutat, I happened to meet a Thai Chinese in Bangkok who told me that his friend won money from gambling using one of the Er Ge Feng amulets consecreted by Guru LP Kee. So he was there to get more of such amulets (maybe for his other friends).

(Please note that I do not have a habit of gambling, so I have not tested the effectiveness of this amulet or its reported claims)

This Thai Chinese showed me what he was wearing (it is an interesting chain made of amulets, plus a 2497 Ajaan Tim LP Thuad amulet, which is very expensive in the amulet world) (He was kind enough to allow me to photgraph his 2497 Ajaan Tim LP Thuad amulet and interesting amulet chain. Thanks to him!):






When asked how much he was selling this amulet (my taxi driver asked him), he just laughed and it was obvious he didn't want to sell it.

Along the way, I dropped at this place to book a hotel for my stay in Bangkok. (A few days later, I watched the news on Thai TV that this very place I had been had just become the scene of fighting between the military/police force and the red shirt protesters).

Hello everyone. I would like to share pictures of my recent trip to Thailand/Bangkok from 12 May to 15 May 2010.

During my time there, there was political chaos in Bangkok, Thailand's Capital city.

My taxi driver picked me up from Bangkok International Airport in the morning, and on my journey to my hotel, I was greeted with the following scenes which give me the flavour of the political chaos happening in Bangkok at the time.

The scene of the Red-shirt protest had shifted to the Silom/MBK area, which is the heart of Bangkok's financial district, largely owned by Bangkok's/Thailand's elite or upper class society.
